Assistant General Manager of Commercial and Institutional Banking at Eskan Bank Participates in Panel Discussion on Social Housing at the World Urban Forum in Baku
Mr. Ebrahim Jasim, Assistant General Manager of Commercial and Institutional Banking at Eskan Bank, participated in a panel discussion on social housing as part of Eskan Bank’s involvement in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13). The forum was held in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, and jointly organized by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN Habitat) and the Government of Azerbaijan.
During the session, Mr. Jasim presented the advanced Bahraini model for developing innovative housing solutions. His keynote presentation, titled “Social Development Housing: Sustainable Communities Through Innovative Housing Solutions” highlighted how Bahrain’s approach balances residential quality of life with urban sustainability.
He also emphasized Bahrain’s experience in building an integrated housing system that harmonizes housing provision with essential services, strengthening communities’ ability to face future challenges.
Mr. Jasim underscored Eskan Bank’s commitment to expanding housing solutions that place citizens at the heart of development, supporting the creation of integrated urban environments that enhance national identity, improve quality of life, and reinforce Bahrain’s leadership in this field.
