In support of efforts to expand housing and financing solutions for citizens, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Housing Bank signed a platinum sponsorship agreement with Bahrain Islamic Bank for the second edition of the Innovation in Social Housing Conference.

Her Excellency Ms. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Housing Bank, affirmed that the partnership with banking institutions has contributed to developing new options for citizens and enhancing the housing system’s ability to respond to the diverse needs of beneficiaries.

She added that the conference will provide an opportunity for the government, banking and real estate sectors to discuss feasible initiatives and solutions, which will contribute to enhancing the efficiency of housing services and accelerating their utilization.

For her part, Ms. Fatima Al-Alawi, CEO of Bahrain Islamic Bank, affirmed that the bank’s sponsorship of the conference embodies the effective partnership with the government sector in implementing programs and initiatives that contribute to providing innovative housing solutions for citizens.

She noted that the bank’s participation comes within its ongoing efforts to provide housing solutions that support government initiatives aimed at advancing the housing sector in the Kingdom, and enhancing the role of financial institutions in providing options that meet the needs of beneficiaries.

The conference will address the latest trends in social housing development, financing, modern technologies, digital transformation, and partnerships with the private sector, in parallel with a specialized exhibition of housing projects, services, and solutions.
