Eskan Bank and AlSaya Kindergarten signed an agreement to build and develop a model kindergarten for children with special needs in East Hidd, under a build-operate-transfer (BOT) agreement. This follows the introduction of the new investment opportunities by the government through lands in the Kingdom of Bahrain, hence contributing in strengthening the cooperation with the private sector and thus achieving further development within the Kingdom. The agreement was signed by Dr. Khalid Abdullah, General Manager of Eskan Bank, and Dr. Camelia Al-Bourshaid, owner of AlSaya Kindergarten.

Dr. Khalid commented on such occasion "We are pleased to announce that AlSaya Kindergarten has met all the terms and conditions of the tender to build and develop a kindergarten in East Hidd on one of the Bank's lands," said Dr. Abdullah. "This agreement is part of our efforts to promote partnerships, open up investment opportunities in government-owned land to investors and developers in the private sector, and contribute to the development and support of educational projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain. We are committed to provide all the necessary support to AlSaya Kindergarten to achieve their goals."

In addition, Dr. Camelia Al-Bourshaid emphasized on the excitement on being selected to build this kindergarten,", stating that this project will contribute to the development of vital sectors in the Kingdom, as well as raise the educational and developmental level of children with special needs. Hence the engineering studies for the project has begun already, and all designs along with necessary permits are in the works to start construction.

The kindergarten will be located on a 648-square-meter plot of land, containing spacious classrooms equipped with the latest educational and health facilities, as well as a large multipurpose hall, administrative offices, and services.
